I would vote for Tom for president and mister universe because he is just that charismatic and handsome. The Fulp name should be listed among nobility. I am crying right now because I feel like no one else wants to talk about Tom Fulp as much as I do. I must be the only person with a Tom Fulp diary that keeps a record of everything Tom Fulp has ever said to me and things I hope he will say to me in the future. I framed a PM Tom Fulp sent to me and my mom wanted me to take it down for my diploma but fuck her she doesn't know what Tom Fulp means to me. I wish Tom Fulp was my dad, my dad sucks, Tom Fulp wouldn't suck if he was my dad. My life would be misery without Tom Fulp. the 2D animation is excellent and it's a cute cartoon but it feels like the 3D animation isn't given half the care or attention that any of the 2D animation was given
a lot of the time the animator is onscreen it feels like theres no weight to him at all, he really just feels unfinished in his movements
but other than that this is a fun little film

in anticipation to this, you made a bunch of tweets containing stuff like
"This one might end up being a little controversial (for all the right reasons)"
"It'll generate some extreme reactions for sure"
"it might end up being a series depending on if I have more to say with the characters."

but like... no? the take "originality is good" is like, a generally agreed upon one. and if your thought is that people should just make stuff for the fun of making stuff, why were you hyping this up so much? this doesnt feel like the extreme take you wanted it to be, this is something someone would watch and be like "yeah that makes sense i agree with it, cool" and that feels like kinda boring.
also the timing in this is like, painfully slow, i got the point of this toon as soon as the eggplant guy said his line about TV in contrast with his room full of popular NG memorabilia. and this is a kind of nit-picky thing but why does the phone ring so long?

aside from that this is not a bad toon, wish i could hear the characters better though, the music + audio quality kind of drown them out a bit. the backgrounds are funny and nice looking as well. plus i always love to see ur goofy little character designs, ur style is so expressive and uses shapes in a very nice way

main criticism is just that it was a liiittle too hyped up and the timing is very slow. its a boring one but not every toon has to be a big hit
its a fine beginning to more satirical stuff, but if you want extreme reactions, have them be to your message and not your buildup

I think I’m maybe like 70% happy with the end result, but like you said I think I got hella paranoid about people not liking it, and I think I focused too much on “this has to be longer” which did kinda make the final thing pretty slow-paced.
All good criticisms though, I’ll definitely work on fixing these issues if I ever get around to a part 2 or something. Cheers mate!
