i really like the texture on the hair. it looks like clay almost! or maybe a really smooth fleece/velvet/felt kind of thing. either way, love this piece, the composition, materials, and lighting in it :)

excellent use of light, colors, and shapes. i like how the light source is in the very middle of the image, it really draws your eye to the whole thing. and i really like your interpretations of these characters! :)

I really appreciate that, man! I sometimes can get lost in the details and forget a lot about the rest of the piece, but for sketchy warmup pieces like this I think it ends up working in my favor.

This piece has such a nice feel to it. The warm color palette fits really well, and the lineart is super expressive. Love this piece.
