HI NEWGROUNDS did you guys see!?! LAST SODA is out!!!

me and @gooberthed started this project what feels like forever ago, and we're really happy with the nice response it's been getting! i haven't been insanely active on any platforms recently and it's been because i was laser focused on getting THIS finished. here's some behind the scenes stuff!!!!

the posters abu has in there bedroom are these pictures.

abu is weird i dont know why they have these. the 1st one is a drawing i did for greta of xenon from @tombdude's itazura madness, the 2nd one is.... yeah and the 3rd one is a flipped version of the @icymire32 drawing i put in most of my cartoons cuz it's kind of funny to us at this point also she did every single bit of music u hear in the episode

this frame of kae from the fridge scene became a big inside joke between most of the people involved in making the episode

here's how a lot of the mouths in the episode were animated: in a separate file, then exported as image sequences at half speed and applied as textures on the faces of the characters

the shot of abu walking and looking at the sun here is one of the only parts where we incorporated any 3D into the background. here's the progression of that shot being made:

this mural in the back of the rat fight includes a bunch of fan characters made by friends & crew

this shot i just really like how this looks

the fight near the end i feel like i could say a lot about.........

heres a mockup of the beginning visuals, this was before i had the idea to incorporate that really glitchy messed up moving texture

and i guess that's all i'll share for now.......!!! i think soon i wanna post some storyboard snippets as shorts on my youtube and compare them to the final animation, but we'll see!!!

it still feels surreal to me finally seeing this finished, you think after all the time spent working on it i'd have something interesting to say about it!

again, just extremely happy with the response this has been getting since it's been uploaded. me and greta wanna make more of this!!!!!

also, carol uploaded all the music from the episode onto newgrounds! this track is my favorite one in the whole episode
